This 3 hour session is designed for the beginner. We meet at a central London location and we go through the basics of photography that will improve your day to day photography skills. Topics covered include light, lenses, exposure, depth of field, composition and file types. The course comes with detailed notes plus coffee and cake (Maison Bertaux) and is ideal for those who have Nikon DSLR or you may borrow one of ours for your lesson.

BW film processing
Priced at £75 per person - if you would like a one on one lesson, then it's priced at £150 per sesson.
This class is designed to teach you how to process your own 35mm black and white film rolls (24 or 36 exposures) at home. Classes happen in studio in Clapham Old Town. The 4 hour session covers everything from removing the film from the canisters, to dark bag activities to understanding the chemicals required to process your film, and of course how to develop your own film. The course comes with detailed notes plus two rolls of 24 exposure Ilford Black & White film for your to shoot prior to the course. If you would like to borrow a film camera for the course you may for a small fee and a refundable deposit.

Priced at £300 per person, session is 6 hours.
Designed for those who want to learn how to process their own film and develop prints using a photographic enlarger in a darkroom setting. The session covers everything covered on the BW Film Processing class plus you will be guided through how to create darkroom prints. This course is limited to one person per time, so you really do get the benefits of one to one tuition. Learn about enlargers, chemicals, paper types and of course, how to print photographs.
The course comes with detailed notes, 2 rolls of film for your to shoot prior to the class and lunch. All chemicals and papers are provided.
